Jeska Stephens is a highly ambitious and talented individual who has dedicated her life to the art of filmmaking and photography. Currently residing in the vibrant city of Naarm/Melbourne, Australia, Jeska's passion for her craft has driven her to explore various facets of the industry.
With an impressive career spanning over 14 years, Jeska has amassed a wealth of experience in film, video, and photography productions. From capturing breathtaking images to documenting the stories of artists, collectives, NFP organisations, and theatre companies, her work showcases a diverse range of skills and expertise.
Jeska's educational background further solidifies her commitment to her craft. Having obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Photography from the prestigious Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in 2014, she delved deeper into her artistic journey by completing a Graduate Certificate in Art and Community Engagement at the Victorian College of the Arts in 2016.
While initially honing her skills as a freelance photographer and videographer, Jeska's true passion lies in the realm of documentary filmmaking. Since 2018, she has fully embraced this calling, dedicating herself to capturing the essence of various artists and organizations. Her work extends beyond the traditional realm of filmmaking, as she also creates compelling online content for her clients, ensuring their presence is felt across websites and social media platforms.
Jeska's versatility and talent have garnered the attention of notable clients such as the Women's Circus, YWCA, MTC, and Riot Stage Theatre, among others. Additionally, she has collaborated with numerous independent artists, further enriching her portfolio and expanding her creative horizons.
As Jeska continues to nurture her passion for documentary filmmaking, it is evident that her drive and determination will propel her to even greater heights in the ever-evolving world of visual storytelling.
